Long awaited graduation Pic's Part I

DSCF4863
What a surprise - she talked the whole way in!

Since they were arranged, Senior class officers, then Valedictorian and Salutatorian, then National Honor Society, then the graduating class alphabetically, Angie was front left corner which made it easy for her to find.

While it is a B**ch getting up to her school's field sometimes, it is very cool as it is the highest point around (thus the word Hills in her school's name) and feels like the top of the world sometimes.

Her BFF Melissa was the Salutatorian.

After the ceremony pic's tomorrow.

Independence Day

Happy Fourth of July!  I hope you have a great day!  Time for friends and family, food and fireworks, parades, grills, beer.

But as you celebrate and have a grat time, take a moment to remember what it took, and still takes to keep us America.

Thursday Thunks: It's a holiday, people!

Welcome to the July 1st edition of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!

We pick a subject, and your job is to interpret it anyway you want.
Write about it on your blog... simple as that.
Maybe you can interpret it as a picture - we don't care!

Please only leave a link if you have written a Thursday Thunks post.
Please mention us in your post, and link back to the blog
here.
Don't forget to go visit the other participants' blogs.
Read and comment about all their Thursday Thunks responses!
That's what all this is about after all, isn't it?
We'll have so much fun and become lifelong friends....

The TT questions are brought to you by Berleen, the color of Pacific Ocean and the number that comes after 393.

So yeah, it's a holiday weekend. 4th of July... Independence Day... whatever you want to call it. What are you doing on July 5th?  Working... and since Brauns isn't running, C has off and I can't play with carpet :(

Have you ever known anyone who has been kidnapped? NOpe!

Does wiping with newspaper make you a smartass? I don't want to find out.

If someone sends you - or you stumble upon a link that will show you celebrity death photos, do you click the link? Hell no!

Do you decorate your computer/laptop? The outside - no, the background is (slurp) Tony ( big surprise I know)

You see Bud and his lady out walking in a park... suddenly she stops and kicks him square in the ass. What did he say to her? He asked if the french twins could come to the July 4th BBQ.

There is a cockroach, a tarantula and a mouse in the room - which one do you kill first? Screw which one do I kill first, there will be a Ria shaped hole in the wall, cuase I'll be outta there!

Did you know that a hay bale can start on fire by itself? Do you know how? Looked around, don't have any hay bales, so no, and please don't tell me.

Kimber calls you - what is her voice like? ok, this may sound weird, but on my phone, my contacts all have ringtones, the default is silence.  So I wouldn't hear it, and wouldn't answer, so wouldn't know.

Have you ever played Battleship? yes, regular version, electronic version, star wars version....

Days of our Lives paid tribute to Francis Reid/Alice Horton this week (Francis, the actress, died in February, Alice (the character) died last week). She was 91 years old and was protrayed as a smart, witty, funny, loving, always gave the best advice type woman. Wonderful mother, grandmother, friend... many characters (and cast members) commented on how they strive to be the type of woman she was. Is there someone in your life that you strive to be like? Cat woman.

Do you attend parades? Until 2 years ago, we took Angie to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC every year.

If Berleen were to purchase three 10-gallon tubs of the peanut butter that they use at Dairy Queens, would you think any less of her?  There is a very strong 10 year old aspect to my personality.  I loves me a pb sammy!

If all the flowers but one kind withered and died, never to grow again, but that one kind of flower would grow worldwide forever, what would you want the surviving flower to be?  Daisies!!

You Are True

You make everyone around you relax. You just have a naturally easygoing vibe.

You are completely genuine, and you appreciate every person's unique gifts.

You love life, and you are quite content. When you smile or laugh, you mean it!

Friends consider you to have a good heart, and for you, there is no higher complement.

Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Sensational Haiku Wednesday
Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!”

Click here for info and background on this weekly event!
The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

This week’s theme is: Travel

I want to go on

A yarn crawl through Uruguay

Are you coming with?

(just think- Manos, Malabrigo, Aruncania, Mirasol...)

Philly is two hours

down the New Jersey Turnpike,

so far from Angie!

 A dream vacation

traveling down the Irish lanes,

will someday happen.

So yes I've been a bad blogger lately.  It's not even being busy, it's being in a mental funk.  Most of which I really can't discuss.  So forgive me, and hopefully I'll pull myself up to post more.

A hedonist - maybe..

Your Sensuality Score is: 90%

You taste, smell, feel, see, and hear more strongly than most people.

Even the smallest sensual act can be quite divine for you.

You are a hedonist. You like to experience it all... whether it's food, art, music, or sex.

If you're not careful, you're apt to overindulge or get addicted to a certain pleasure.
