Your Brain is Creative

You have a dreamy mind, full of fancy and fantasy.

You have the ability to stay forever entertained with your thoughts.

People may say you're hard to read, but that's because you're so internally focused.

But when you do share what you're thinking, people are impressed with your imagination.

A Face for Radio

Welcome to the August 12th edition of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!
We pick a subject, and your job is to interpret it anyway you want.
Write about it on your blog... simple as that.
Maybe you can interpret it as a picture - we don't care!

Please only leave a link if you have written a Thursday Thunks post.
Don't forget to go visit the other
participants' blogs.
Read and comment about all their Thursday Thunks responses!
That's what all this is about after all, isn't it?
We'll have so much fun and become lifelong friends....

span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">The TT questions are brought to you by Bud, the color of Sarah Palin's bible and the number 333.
1. What radio personality bothers you the most?  I have Sirius/XM  - multiple country stations, Nascar radio, 80's , metal, comedy stations, - I don't listen to personalities that bother me.

2. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive?Yes, my psycho uncle made sure of it.
3. If a sexy person was pursuing you, but you knew she was married, And neither her S/O or yours would never know, might you to the deed? no - I'm totally not into "she's" sexy or otherwise.

4. Do you like to pursue or be pursued? a little of both creates that wonderful tension...

5. Use three words to describe yourself.  Unique, strange, bitch

6. If Berleen was on a camping trip, do you thing she’d attract grizzlies? If she does can I go
??

7. Do you think more about the past, present or future?
I'm a live for the present kind of girl!

8. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing, other than family or pets, that you grabbed? Curt's ass??  Seriously- I wish I could say pictures, but probably yarn.

9. Was your mom a cheerleader? I almost spewed my beer reading that question!! No, definitely not - and she never understood why I was!

10. Was your dad a jock? That's funnier than question 9.  Biggest, most uncoordinated clutz on the planet.  But even though he never came to one of my games, I found out after he passed that he bragged about my accomplishments to his friends.

11. Bud’s been gone a while. Do you think he will return or shut down that Googled Warned blog? Bud must return!!!  I can't be the most sarcastically funny person I know!!

12. What’s your favorite junk food? Pizza

13. Do you believe in reincarnation? I hope not!  It makes life ordinary if you keep doing it.

Nothing soothes my soul,

like a great big loving hug,

from my favorite guy.

Randomness

First, here's a picture of dinner.  Homemade grilled flatbread pizza with baby portabellas, purple and cubanelle peppers from the garden, hawaiian sweet onions, of course garlic and 4 cheeses.

Second I realized I never shared my Creepy Cute spring/summer color swap.  Mine came all the way from Australia!!  Many thanks to Kattie!!

IMAG0226.jpg

An Amazon, with the extra yarn to make her a boyfriend/love slave with.  Really cool earrings, and she made me a beaded bookmark!!  Thanks so much Kattie!!!

Third believe it or not, I actually managed to accomplish two more squares for my Victory Junction camp afghan.  They are based ( had to modify to get size) on smariek's diamond cloth pattern:

No picture currently of my second sock, which is going painfully slow as I'm only really getting 2 rows done each lunchtime because it's been so hot!!

Finally, my friend Thom has taken over The Muffed Target     So at least for now, I'll try playing along.

RULES
Each Tuesday post a picture which is completely crazy, messed up, with nothing on etc, which normally you would immediately delete. It can be everything, like only shoes instead of the whole person, a blurred building or whatever you want. Then tell us the little story how it happened and what it should have been. Make sure you link by your post by signing the Linky Tools below.

Angie and I were making our way to the concession stands during the race at Pocono when they were interviewing Tony and showing it on the giant Sprint Vision screen.  I took a picture on my phone.  What I have discovered is I am much better off cropping pic's in iPhoto than on my phone.  The color and graininess must end up corrected on iPhoto and the resolution is better too.  I didn't realize this at the time and cropped a perfectly good picture into this crap on my phone.  PS I do love my phone - just not for cropping.

It's too freakin hot!!

FFirst I would like to say that you really don't hear me complain about the weather too often.  ( WELL IF THEY HAD CALLED THE RACE AND HORNISH HAD WON YOU WOULD'VE HEARD ME BITCH ABOUT RAIN)  But seriously the last time you heard me complain was in December when two times we were in that mysterious hole in the radar and thus got no snow when everyone else got over a foot of the wonderful stuff!  Even the last wave of heat we had 2 weeks ago brought about no complaints (except for Carl's trailer being like 200 degrees) because after all it is summer and I guess the electric company has to make money too.

But seriously another freakin heat wave?  And this time it is more humid than the first??  I feel like I must have died and reached some level of the inferno that even Dante could not imagine!

Yes folks this is not as one would assume a scene out of a video game ( really great game btw)  but the view out of my front door.  ( Sorry Moe, couldn't make it in today, my tires melted!) People walking about with the flesh melting from their bones...

Then as if this heat isn't bad enough, my fantasies of summering in Alaska, me the snowcaps, the bears high temps in the 70's...
Hanging with the hotties on Deadliest Catch ( Sorry Gracie I had to add that one!)  were forever dashed today, when I learned that Alaska has the biggest and most aggressive mosquitoes anywhere!  And they grow up to 2 inches long.  They have a short season so they are far more aggressive than the mosquitoes in the lower 48.  So Alaska will have to remain a fantasy ski destination in the winter instead!

Stay cool everyone!

Congratulations Jerry!

Congratulations Jerry Rice #80!!

Jerry Rice is being enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, OH tonight. He totally deserves it.  Thanks Jerry for my best football years ever!! Jerry is Angie's all time favorite player ever.  She actually followed him to the *gasp* Raider Nation for his brief time there.  If she didn't return I would have had to hunt him down to beat him upside the head.  Fortunately for Jerry, She did return to the ultimate team.  And yes, I'm a horrible mom, I forgot to tape it for her while she was working.
