Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!”

Click here for info and background on this weekly event!
The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

This week’s theme is: Aging

Aching back, stiff knees

Need to wear eyeglasses now

Age waits for no one.

Comfortable jeans

That are easy to sit in

Replace the tight ones.

When did I become

The girl who doesn't go out

Rather cook instead?

Insidiously

The greys keep growing back in

Need to touch them up.

If you read these lines

A common theme emerges

kicking and screaming.

Really though I would

never go back to twenty

to much drama then.

  1. I agree 20 was way to much drama, I'll take a few wrinkles of the drama any day!

I've gotten rid of the word verification for posting comments. To tell the truth, I have trouble reading the new stuff they are using. Feel free to disagree, but spammy or obnoxious comments will not go up.
