Ria, I am glad the confirmation went well...or I assume it did :) My kids were never confirmed. They did their first communion but they didnt want to do anymore. I didnt argue because, 1.) I'm not Catholic :) and 2.) I figured they can still attend mass and take the sacraments anyway. Both my kids are NOT fans of the Catholic church because their father used to make them go to mass and they hated having to go to CCD.
