Sensational Haiku Wednesday
Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!”

Click here for info and background on this weekly event!
The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

This week’s theme is: Growth

Allow to stagnate

Will wither away and die

A pool of boredom.

Not too old to learn

Challenge your mind every day

Do not fear new things.

Books bring new ideas,

Crafts and hobbies bring new skills,

People bring new friends.

On the fitness front,

I aim for negative growth

Much too much of me!

  1. Very well done. Keep up the good work skinny. :)

  2. "negative growth"

Is that the same as "decline"? Just wondering...

  3. Nope- just been hitting the gym 6 days a week to try and come up with less of me! (Apparently there canbe too much of a good thing!)

  4. Ah, you've hit the nail on the head with that one - me TOO!

Mentioned you on my latest post too...

  5. Gosh you're so right the more active you stay the longer you thrive!

  6. I love that last one! I should copy it and put it on my frige! LOL!

  7. it is never too late to learn something new. insightful haiku pieces here! :)

I've gotten rid of the word verification for posting comments. To tell the truth, I have trouble reading the new stuff they are using. Feel free to disagree, but spammy or obnoxious comments will not go up.
