Sensational Haiku Wednesday
Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!”

Click here for info and background on this weekly event!
The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

This week’s theme is: Distance

Display SLOWLY shows

the miles in tenths ticking off,

in cardio Hell!

Once friends, now strangers

In the same room feet apart

Feels like miles and miles

  1. Ooh I really like your first haiku. I always cover the machines at the gym so I can't see the distance creeping by.

  2. Haha to your first one - I feel that! The second one is sad... been there, done that. Well done :)

  4. :D ... both of your Haiku resonate with me ... the cardio ... and the tension between individuals who use to be friends ... rough for all concerned ...

    Well done!

  7. Your hajkus run deep.Sets one thinking.Problems with his emotions affect his relationships is my take for the first one. The second often the bane of good friends who suddenly aren't on speaking terms for some reasons. Both are gems!

I've gotten rid of the word verification for posting comments. To tell the truth, I have trouble reading the new stuff they are using. Feel free to disagree, but spammy or obnoxious comments will not go up.
