Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

I just love the dreams from an afternoon nap. they really do get out of this world weird sometimes. and your second haiku is so sweet.

i do get weird dreams in the afternoon so i try to stay away from catnaps when i can.
