Do Elephants Come With a GPS Installed?

Welcome to the September 16th edition of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!
We pick a subject, and your job is to interpret it anyway you want.
Write about it on your blog... simple as that.
Maybe you can interpret it as a picture - we don't care!

Please only leave a link if you have written a Thursday Thunks post.
Don't forget to go visit the other
participants' blogs.
Read and comment about all their Thursday Thunks responses!
That's what all this is about after all, isn't it?
We'll have so much fun and become lifelong friends....

The TT questions are brought to you by Berleen, the color of my kitchen table and the number 45.

10. What number blog post is this for you?  702

9. You are driving down a road and your GPS says turn right, but the road has a Dead End sign. You check your GPS and according tgro it's map, there is a road at
the end of the Dead End road that you need to turn onto. Do you follow the GPS?I don't use a GPS.  My husband and daughter have them.  I use google maps and a printer.  ( my phone does have 3 different navigation apps loaded onto it already, so I guess I technically do have one, but I don't use it)

8. If you had a $2 bill, would you spend it? I got a 2 dollar bill a few years ago, I gave it to my daughter who still has it.

7. When there is nobody else around and you sneeze or cough, do you cover your mouth?Gross question, but yes!

6. You are a DJ at a radio station and your
first guest is Bud... what is the first question you are going to ask him? WHy he didn't bring his lady?  ( I'd want to dish with her)

5. Have you ever stopped to help a stranger with a flat tire? No.  I did stop to help someone whose roof carrier had opened and their stuff was being blown around the road.  Have you noticed that there seem to be fewer flat tires in recent years than the 70's when I was growing up?  Are the tires better?  Do people change them more often (doubt that)?  Is it the north?  Was it the fact that I was in Texas & NC? are there more flats in the south?

4. You get on an airplane and you find that your seat neighbor is Kimber... what do you talk about or do you ignore her completely?  I don't think I know what Kimber looks like?  I think that the only two thunkers I might recognize would be Bud and Thom.  But in all seriousness.  I get on a plane, I put my i-pod on, I fall asleep.  As soon as we start descending I wake up ( I guess it's the altitude change?) SO really Kimber, if it was me - don't feel bad! I wasn't ignoring you on purpose!

3. Have you ever rode an elephant? Yes.  County fair.  Angie was 4 or 5. She wanted to ride the elephant, she was scared, Curt wouldn't ride the elephant.  Do I get good mom points for that?  I rode a camel that day too!

2. Time to bitch & moan! What is your biggest complaint about your current friends on Facebook?I have no friends on facebook.  I mean I know some of my friends are on facebook. I am not, will not, won't.  DOn't ask.  I am on twitter though.

1. School is back in session for all little girls and boys now. What, in your life, changes when kids go back to school? well this year Angie is living in a dorm a bit over 2 hours away.  SO I can run naked with scissors.  But it's been cold. And I have no where that I need to get scissors too very quickly...

  1. What you wont do FB? LOL I have an account and all it is is my TV crap posting to there and all the stuff from my blog. Why I keep asking myself. I don't know how you sleep on a plane. I can't. I have to be in the supine position for sleeping LOL. Very colorful entry :) Have a great Thursday

  2. You want to run around naked with scissors? Didn't I see that movie? ;)

  3. My daughter graduated this past June, but she's still living at home so no running naked with or without scissors for me. Maybe next year.

  4. Hi Ria...
Loved all your answers! And in regards to your question yesterday on one of my answers about kids/school...I said flashing lights and you hadn't heard of it? Well, in front of schools during the school hours and crosswalks at intersections close to school, there are flashing lights where you as the driver must slow down to 15MPH or you're ticketed for speeding!!! It works all school season that way.

  5. I'm not sure my comment went through the first time...if it's a repeat...forgive me.

Loved your answers. And in regards to your question about school's flashing lights...during the school year, on the streets in front of the school and on nearby intersections, the flashing lights reminds us drivers to slow down to 15MPH...otherwise we're ticketed for speeding.

I've gotten rid of the word verification for posting comments. To tell the truth, I have trouble reading the new stuff they are using. Feel free to disagree, but spammy or obnoxious comments will not go up.
