Sensational Haiku Wednesday
Sensational Haiku Wednesday

Welcome to “Sensational Haiku Wednesday!”

Click here for info and background on this weekly event!
The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

This week’s theme is: Frost

White and Sparkling

A blanket covers the world

Crisp and inviting.

Curt, the "man" shovels

Snow is serious to him

Clears off the cars too!

Mom and Angie, girls

snowmen, snowballs, andsledding

enjoy frosty days!

Snowy day of play

  1. Hi Ria ~~ Your 'baby' looks comfy. She is getting big too!
Like the Haikus. We hardly ever have frost here.
    Happy New Year!

  2. Wonderful photos and poems. You are talented in so many ways. Glad to know you all are safe. I know you are enjoying all the snow. We got another heavy rain last night, so maybe more snow is coming your way!

  5. That second pic is particularly interesting with the snow curling off the roof, but I like the pick of your little one napping the best -- it tells me that her house is snug and warm no matter how cold it is outside.

  6. Frost - a white blanket
    For covering many things -
