The basics:Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)
Hi Ria ~~ Your 'baby' looks comfy. She is getting big too!
ReplyDeleteLike the Haikus. We hardly ever have frost here.
Happy New Year!

Wonderful photos and poems. You are talented in so many ways. Glad to know you all are safe. I know you are enjoying all the snow. We got another heavy rain last night, so maybe more snow is coming your way!
ReplyDeleteLike how you used blanket of frost when I usually think of blanket as warmth...Beautiful image..and your baby, too. Always welcome an extra hand when it comes to shoveling and scraping snow..Great post!
ReplyDeleteWonderful haikus and photos. What a cute little girl!

That second pic is particularly interesting with the snow curling off the roof, but I like the pick of your little one napping the best -- it tells me that her house is snug and warm no matter how cold it is outside.
ReplyDeleteFrost - a white blanket
