Light a Candle for Tibet

I don't remember where I saw this, but people are putting a candle in their windows on Thursday night, to remember the human rights violations China is currently committing in Tibet. The opening ceremonies are on Friday night. Yes, I am lighting a candle, no I'm not boycotting watching the olympics. I don't watch that much of the summer games anyway. I'm more of a winter olympics fan. But I'm dvr'ing all the fencing (especially woman's sabre where our team has an awesome shot at the gold) to watch with my daughter ( who is a sabre fencer on her school's team)

  1. I will have my burning tonight!

I am with you on Winter games. My folks took me to the 1980 games in Lake Placid. WOW.... I saw Eric H. win a gold and that night we were out on the frozen lake for the presentation. AMAZING!
